Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, LICSWEating disorders leave us feeling out of control, insecure, and unfulfilled. You may be struggling with perfectionism, fear of failure, and people pleasing. You may be fed up with constant restriction, over eating, or both. Perhaps you're feeling disconnected and self-conscious about your body, or overwhelmed with strong feelings and unsure of how to manage them. You might not even remember a time when it didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to build stronger healthier relationships, including with food and your body. You’re ready to feel better in your own skin. Most of all, you’re ready to feel empowered and confident to take control of your life.
Clients come to Elizabeth looking for a therapist who treats the whole person, not just the eating disorder. Sessions with her are comfortable and interactive. Together, you will increase mindfulness of the root cause of the eating disorder, assess your personal values and goals, and find fulfillment in the life you want to live. And you will always go at your pace.
