Professional statement

Emily Chin is an LPC based in Cumming, GA. She is trained in EMDR, through EMDR consulting, and finds it to be an invaluable tool. She frequently utilizes narrative therapy, sand-tray, mindfulness, and many more evidence-based treatments. Emily works hard to tailor her treatment to each client specifically and will work to find what modality works best for you.

Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys getting outside and crafting. Whether she is crocheting, doing embroidery, kayaking, or hiking she is probably doing it outside. Emily is a self-identified crazy cat lady; she has two black cats at home and has found herself in a slightly cat themed office.

Overall, Emily ensures you feel comfortable in her office and will work to meet your unique needs. She would love to connect and would enjoy being a part of your journey.
