Professional statement

Erin Mancini-Geer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with ARISE Psychotherapy Services. Erin provides individual psychotherapy services via video telehealth to adults of all ages. Erin obtained her Master’s in Holistic Mental Health Counseling and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Holistic Mental Health from Salve Regina University. She has been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years.

Some of the areas folks come to address with Erin include, trauma, LBGTQIA and gender and sexuality topics, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, and life meaning and purpose. She enjoys working with adults of all ages, but also specializes in working with college-aged individuals who are experiencing life transition challenges.

Erin has a holistic and integrated approach to therapy that is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. As a holistic counselor, her focus is on the person as a whole and not just the situation they are experiencing. She comes from a person-centered framework and tailors the therapeutic experience to each individual and their unique situation. As such, when working with Erin, you can be sure that she will take the time to listen and understand who you really are and what is important to you, what you value, what you are struggling with, and what your goals are for life and therapy.

Erin has a strong passion and commitment to helping others, which quickly becomes evident to the individuals she works with. The compassion, empathy, clinical approach and experience she brings into every session creates an environment that allows for the positive growth and meaningful change people come to therapy for.
