Gabrielle Cyr has a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey as well as a Licensed Master of Social Work in New York. She works with individuals and couples, from teenagers to adults. Gabrielle works with issues of depression and anxiety, as well as explorations of relationship issues, particularly in polyamorous and other alternative relationships. She also has experience working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Gabrielle works from an interrelational, integrational and eclectic perspective. She believes in the inherent wisdom of the client, and provides a healing, non-judgmental relationship to foster access to that wisdom. Gabrielle believes in a balance between the desire for change and the goal of self-acceptance. She can help you reframe the way that you view yourself and your situation, and help you see the patterns you are repeating, while at the same time offering unconditional positive regard for where you are right now.

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Nonmonogamy, polyamory, and kink - Exploring one’s values in and beliefs about relationships; practicing boundary-setting, conflict resolution, and romantic or sexual relationship bonding with partners
