Professional statement

Hannah is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and therapist at Green Oasis Psychotherapy and Wellness.

Hannah has spent the last several years working in a hospital setting, providing both case management as well as direct clinical services to patients of various socioeconomic backgrounds who presented with varying diagnoses. Prior to her work as a hospital social worker, Hannah was a clinician at a therapeutic school for students experiencing various behavioral, cognitive, and emotional health diagnoses.

Hannah practices from a trauma-informed lens and engages clients in strengths-based treatment utilizing a variety of treatment modalities including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Hannah received her Master of Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts, where she completed internships supporting adolescents and young adults to improve their self-awareness and self-advocacy skills, as well as navigate social relationships and conflict. Hannah’s experience includes supporting clients to learn and practice effective ways to communicate their feelings and solve problems, and to improve their own coping tools.

Message to clients

My work with clients is client-centered, meaning that the client has the power to lead the direction of sessions and discuss topics that are most important to them. Sessions are a safe space for clients to process thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear or judgment.

Many clients that I work with are seeking new ways to manage their symptoms of depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. My goal is to support and empower clients to learn new and effective ways for them to manage parts of their lives that feel out of control.
