Honey founded Women’s Collaborative Therapy, LLC with the aim of offering support to women (ages 18 and over) who may be coping with challenging transitions or changes in their lives and relationships. Whether you are experiencing daily stressors, unresolved past trauma, or a chronic, destabilizing situation, Honey will help you to develop healthy responses and coping skills. Through consistent therapy sessions, Honey works to draw upon your strengths (and, undoubtedly, discover new ones!), tap into your natural capacity for resilience, and increase your own feelings of self-worth as you take positive steps forward in your life.
With over 18 years of experience in the social services field, Honey blends her clinical social work skills with a strong passion for self-advocacy to help her clients identify, work towards, and achieve their personal goals. She holds a Masters in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice from Columbia University as well as a Masters in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. In addition, she is a certified advanced practitioner in Integrative Medicine for Mental Health under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Leslie Korn. She has experience in a variety of settings providing direct clinical services and intensive case management to individuals and families. Honey has worked in shelters and programs assisting homeless individuals coping with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse; medical social work, including Labor and Delivery, maternity ward, and NICU; inpatient psychiatric units at both public and private institutions; and providing psychiatric social work at a maximum-security forensic hospital.
