Professional statement

It is okay if you are not exactly sure why you are seeking therapy. Sometimes people simply feel they are not functioning as well as they would like, or that things are not going the way they hoped, but have difficulty understanding why or what to do about it. My approach is collaborative. Together, we explore these experiences so that what we uncover in therapy can be applied in your life outside of our sessions. I show up genuinely in the therapeutic relationship, and it is important to me that my clients feel that so they can show up authentically as well.

Therapy can be hard work, but when approached with openness it can lead to meaningful and lasting change. I work in a private practice setting and have experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating a variety of life challenges whether they have a clear objective in mind or are simply unsure of where to start.

My work is informed by attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and existential thought. Together, we may explore relationship patterns, deeper motivations, and how your experiences shape the way you move through the world today. I use evidence-based practices to guide treatment and support the goals that matter most to you.
