Professional statement

Jax Robinson's practice focuses on serving individuals who are struggling to make meaning of the adversities of life. These adversities may manifest as depression, anxiety, codependency, or PTSD; and Jax works through an eclectic, trauma-focused model to help diminish these intrusive symptoms so her clients can pursue a meaningful, healthy life.

Over her professional career, Jax has developed specialization in trauma, grief, codependency and individuation. She is an EMDR trained clinician, and also carries certifications in Advanced Greif Counseling and Ecopsychology. She serves as a Resiliency Workshop facilitator for the American Red Cross, and is a board member of her local association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, and enjoys integrating her studies with her clinical work.

She is available for telehealth sessions in California and Nevada, and also offers in person sessions locally in Santa Barbara, CA.
