Professional statement

Janine Siegfried, LPC-S, provides compassionate and trauma-informed therapy for adolescents (16+), adults, and older adults navigating challenges such as trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and dual diagnoses. Whether clients are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking clarity and peace, Janine meets them where they are—with empathy, support, and a genuine belief in their capacity to heal and grow.

Her therapeutic approach centers on creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard and accepted. Drawing from evidence-based practices, including EMDR for trauma, Janine helps clients develop self-awareness and self-acceptance as a foundation for change. She understands that every individual’s readiness and path to healing is unique, and she tailors her work to honor each client’s needs and goals. Through a process of deep listening, gentle guidance, and collaborative exploration, Janine supports clients in finding relief, clarity, and new possibilities.

Janine brings more than a decade of experience to her work, having started her career in a psychiatric hospital setting where she supported individuals with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD, and anxiety. She has also worked extensively in nursing homes and in the community with first responders, law enforcement, and school personnel to conduct mental health assessments in crisis situations. Her broad clinical background enables her to approach each person with humility, understanding, and respect for their lived experiences.

Janine sees clients Monday through Thursday, both in person at Enteave Counseling (3432 Greystone Drive, Ste. 101, Austin, TX 78731) and remotely via telehealth. She accepts a range of insurances including BCBS, Optum/United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Scott & White, First Health, and Ascension-Seton, and her private pay rate is $180.

Message to clients

Whatever season of life you find yourself in—whether you’re feeling anxious, grieving, depressed, overwhelmed, or simply unsure—I want you to know that you don’t have to face it alone. I believe in meeting people where they are, and I will walk beside you without judgment, pressure, or expectations. You don’t need to have all the answers to begin. Just showing up is enough.

Therapy is a space where you can speak freely, feel supported, and begin to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. My goal is to create an environment that feels safe, grounded, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're feeling motivated and ready for change or just trying to get through each day, I’ll support you with empathy and compassion. Together, we’ll work to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and move toward greater self-acceptance and relief.

My hope for you is that therapy helps you reconnect with your own inner strength and wisdom. Healing is not always a straight path, but I believe that with the right support, real and lasting change is possible. You deserve care, respect, and the space to feel seen and heard.

If you’re considering starting therapy, I invite you to reach out. I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
