Dr. Leaderman is a licensed counselor, music therapist, and international psychologist who specialized in working with clients whom identify as neurodivergent, international clients, as well as individuals who are experiencing anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and depression.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Leaderman provides a collaborative and compassionate space for individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum or whom have ADHD to create an empowered response to life's challenges. Working to develop the wisdom and skills to overcome barriers and begin to thrive in the world.

Dr. Leaderman currently provides virtual therapy to clients located in California and Massachusetts.

Dr. Leaderman has limited availability for weekday morning and afternoon appointments as of Feb./March 2024.

You are not alone in this process, and as a licensed counselor and music therapist, I specialize in partnering with adults to discover an empowered response to complex challenges. Through compassionate and skilled care, I support individuals to overcome past and present barriers that enable transformations to thrive.

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and informed by the unique circumstances that individuals are confronting to develop meaning, wellbeing, and effective skills to navigate roadblocks. I have a focus to treatment that seeks to harness the power of one’s passions and values to bring about positive change through dialogue (i.e. talk therapy) or through the use of Music, the Arts, Gaming, or Technology.

ADHD - Skill-building and support around organizational challenges, distracted attention, procrastination; building and maintaining healthy routines and structure

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Autism spectrum disorder - Support understanding the diagnosis and related challenges and strengths; skill-building in areas of daily routine, transitions, coping with overwhelming sensory experiences, social skills, and emotion identification and regulation

College & graduate student mental health - Specialized strategies for common issues of young adulthood, including school and career stressors, support around healthy relationships, existential concerns, drug or alcohol issues, eating disorders, and anxiety and/or depression.
