Professional statement

I received my Master of Social Work from CUNY at Lehman College and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Johns University. As a bilingual clinician, my goal is for my practice to be rooted in anti-racism and compassionate care for all. My hope is that you experience me as someone who is non-judgmental and listens, not only hears, and someone who creates a safe space for you to share your stories and be one step closer to healing.

I am experienced in many areas of mental health, but throughout my career, I have worked with individuals and families experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, women’s issues, divorce, and life transitions.

I use a variety of counseling techniques depending on your needs. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Psychodynamic Therapy, which encourages you to identify, challenge and replace distorted beliefs in order to live a more fulfilling life.
