Juan Carlos Camps is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Miami Beach, FL. Juan Carlos is passionate about providing members of the Miami community the emotional support they need to thrive. Many of Juan Carlos’ clients struggle with low self-esteem, depression, feelings of disconnection from others, or overwhelming disappointment. Juan Carlos helps these clients to feel confident in themselves and their strengths, while giving them a safe space to process through their feelings.

In sessions with clients, Juan Carlos adjusts his approach depending on the client’s goals, personality, and situation. He provides coaching services to help clients reach their goals, including coming up with the next steps to take to reach those goals. This is especially helpful for clients who have goals for their physical or professional performance. Juan Carlos also introduces mind-body techniques for clients to help them grow their overall awareness. This holistic approach includes mindfulness practices like meditation, deep breathing, or light exercise.

Juan Carlos earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University. He is welcoming to clients of all backgrounds and identities and specializes in supporting the LGBTQ population. He has over twenty years of experience working in mental health in the Miami community.
