Message to clients

My strengths as a counselor include my ability to be authentic, share warmth, cultivate wisdom, and build connection. My therapeutic lens is person centered, existential, and behavioral; I can speak with insight and clarity to your essential questions about who you have been, who you are, and what you should do.

I seek to partner with you in a process of discovery and productive therapeutic work. I find that sometimes the most important counseling goals emerge as sessions get underway and trust and rapport are built. These most important goals may be surprising and even liberating. Counseling with me is often a challenging yet enjoyable process of exploration, discovery, and meaning making. My hope and intention is to help facilitate a counseling process that meets your needs for change, support, guidance, self-awareness, growth, and/or healing.  Whatever needs, desires, and goals you may bring or uncover, my highest pleasure and privilege will be to become part of your journey, just as you will become part of mine.
