Professional statement

Katelyn Kosinski is a Couples and Family Therapist in Training in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She works with both couples and individuals through telehealth at Vital Minds Counseling.

Katelyn utilizes narrative and CBT approaches with individuals and incorporates her knowledge of mindfulness into sessions as well. With couples she uses a combination of Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Gottman techniques to help couples increase friendship, understanding, and improve communication skills.

Professionally, Katelyn has worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice settings since 2022. She received her Master's degree in March of 2023 from Alliant International University based in San Diego, CA. Along with evidence-based couples and family theories, her graduate program also heavily focused on cultural humility and diversity.
