She completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles and has trained in community mental health, elementary school, high school, and private practice settings in both California and New York. Kayla is particularly passionate about working with women in their twenties and thirties, the LGTBQIA community, couples, and those healing from trauma.
Kayla’s holistic approach is tailored to each client and is informed by Narrative, Relational Gestalt, Somatic and Internal Family Systems theories. She is also trained as a yoga teacher and is passionate about exploring the mind/body/spirit connection in her work.
Kayla holds deep and unconditional compassion for each of her clients, along with an unwavering sense of the boundless possibilities that are available to each of us. She seeks to help clients access their strengths and approaches challenges creatively and collaboratively. Her style is warm, empathetic, and affirming. She sees therapy as a true partnership and is honored to support and empower clients throughout the process. Kayla is currently taking on new clients in-person at her lovely office in Pasadena.

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
