Professional statement

Kimberly is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and significant life transitions. She is especially passionate about supporting clients during periods of change or uncertainty, recognizing that these chapters, while often challenging, can also be powerful opportunities for growth and self discovery. Her clientele includes adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally conflicted, as well as those seeking deeper self understanding and greater clarity in their personal or professional lives.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in a person centered philosophy that emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. Kimberly integrates evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strength based interventions, tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual. She believes therapy is most effective when it is a shared process in which clients feel empowered to explore their experiences openly and develop practical tools for meaningful change.

Kimberly earned her Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University in 2019. She has remained dedicated to helping clients build resilience, increase self awareness, and cultivate emotional well being, and deeply values the trust that develops within the therapeutic relationship.

Kimberly provides online therapy through Wellqor. After submitting the Get Started form, a WellQor intake coordinator will reach out by text to learn more about what you are looking for. This step exists to ensure you are matched with the therapist best suited to your needs. You can expect a simple, guided process to confirm your fit with Kimberly and get scheduled. Please have your insurance card and member ID handy to help verify your coverage quickly.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big and sometimes vulnerable step. I want you to know that you do not have to have everything figured out before we begin. You can come exactly as you are, whether you are feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, hopeful, or simply curious about yourself. My hope is that our work together feels collaborative and supportive, with space for honesty, reflection, and growth at a pace that feels right for you.

I strive to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe exploring all parts of your experience. You may find that you hold seemingly conflicting emotions at the same time, and that is completely valid. Together, we will work to better understand your patterns, strengthen your coping tools, and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful. Above all, I hope you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout our work together.
