Kristen Acciari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing at The Holistic Heart in Warwick RI, where she is Founder & Clinical Director. Kristen takes an insight-based approach to treatment, centered around understanding the deeper meaning and messages in each individual's presenting symptoms and challenges. Together, you will examine repeating patterns to gain clearer self-understanding and work to develop new, healthier experiential habits. Kristen believes in the spiritual, creative nature of human beings, and is passionate about helping individuals align with the fullest expression of their unique gifts.
Believing in the depth of the human experience, Kristen takes much of her approach from the angle of Depth Psychology, and incorporates Jungian psychological techniques and theories such as shadow work, active imagination, and the theory of synchronicity when appropriate or desired by clients.
A long-time practitioner of yoga, Kristen completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2014, and iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher training in 2018, for additional dimensions to incorporate into her therapeutic work. Kristen pulls from her experiences and training as appropriate to meet each client where they are.
