Message to clients

"The Importance of Life is Healing and overall Happiness." As your therapist, I will begin by meeting you where you are emotionally and mentally. I have over a decade of experience working with children between the ages of 6-17 and adults 18-60. My name is Ms. Lakendria Smith and I'm a board-certified Counselor. I attended Grand Canyon University and have been practicing therapy for 15 years. I have worked within a wide variety of outpatient mental health programs, schools, and psychiatric hospitals. As your counselor, I will begin by meeting you where you are emotionally and mentally. It is important that the therapist and the client have a positive rapport. Each person should be heard but allow themselves to be open to guidance and another perspective. Mental health is an intricate part of our everyday lives and not be afraid to seek assistance to maintain mental stability.
