Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, LCSW-C Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsLauren Siegel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lauren has over 20 years of social work experience helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. She supports young to middle-aged adults individually and within groups.
Lauren believes in the uniqueness of each client; therefore, she draws from an extensive therapeutic toolkit that integrates Attachment Theory, Neurobiology, and Trauma Informed Care with Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems. In addition, Lauren uses an array of creative modalities to help clients connect and discover parts within themselves that talking alone does not always reveal. Together, clients overcome obstacles, address self-doubt and limiting beliefs, forging a path toward lasting change and growth.
Lauren earned a Master’s in Social Work from CUNY Hunter College School of Social Work. She has a certificate in People Personnel Service Credential from the University of California, Berkeley. Before becoming an LCSW, she worked within schools, community-based organizations, and government agencies to increase mental health access and social inequalities.
