Professional statement

Dr. Leah Krusich is a Licensed Psychologist and Psychoanalyst located in Lakewood, CO. She is passionate about working with people who feel that they’re different than other people in several key ways that make it difficult for them to develop close relationships or feel comfortable being themselves in social settings. Often, they’ve been labeled as sensitive, and they feel lost without knowing how to act and who to be. They might also engage in perfectionism that hinders their well-being. Dr. Krusich also works with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, burnout, chronic illness, or trauma symptoms.

In her sessions, Dr. Krusich is a down-to-earth therapist who engages in holistic healing, which means that she supports her clients to heal both their minds and their bodies. She tailors her therapy approach for each client, as she recognizes that everyone is unique, particularly in their mental health. Clients benefit from Polyvagal theory-based approaches, as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, when it comes to reducing trauma’s impact on their everyday lives. They find in Dr. Krusich a safe, affirming figure who listens with empathy as they talk about their lives and their challenges.

Dr. Krusich earned a PsyD from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She values curiosity, creativity, and authenticity in her work, and strives to bring these values to the forefront of every conversation she has with clients.
