Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC Practice: Mindful Health Solutions Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsLeola D’Aversa is joining Mindful Health Solution’s Marietta clinic as a licensed professional counselor. She is passionate about working with teenagers and young adults suffering from depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and stress management.
Her therapeutic style is collaborative, creative, empathetic yet straight forward, and easy-going. Leola utilizes various therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy when working with teenagers and young adults. Therapies like these alongside other medications and alternative treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine can ensure patients find a path that works best for them as a unique individual.
Throughout her career Leola has often focused on family work when teenagers present with mental health concerns. She considers the family to be a system, where one failing part will result in the dysfunction of others. Leola aims to help individuals examine all parts of their lives, so that they can find healing and develop the necessary tools to withstand life’s stressors.
Leola D’Aversa believes that each client travels a unique journey down the road to self-discovery. Leola strives to assist individuals with making positive changes by tailoring her modalities to fit their specific needs, and by focusing on their strengths. By acknowledging patterns, breaking cycles, and restoring balance, individuals and families can greatly improve their quality of life.
