Lisa utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach as well as acceptance commitment therapy and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). Lisa works to empower her clients with gaining insight, skill building, trauma processing, and self-compassion. Lisa understands the importance of meeting her clients where they are and at their pace. Lisa understands every journey is unique as is every path to growth and healing. Lisa practices a holistic approach which may utilize mindfulness; journaling, or other artistic endeavors.
Lisa graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master degree in Mental Health Counseling. After graduating Lisa has worked with teens as well as adults with substance use and mental health issues in outpatient settings.
