Professional statement

Loretta Battistoni is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience. Loretta has worked with clients of all ages (from early adolescents to older adulthood) in medical settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics. During the isolating and traumatic experience of COVID-19, it became clear that there is a need for more accessible mental health care, and Loretta is pleased to offer counseling services 100% virtually to address this need.

Loretta approaches all her clients with sensitivity, curiosity, openness, and acceptance. She strives to create a space of safety for her clients who bravely share their story with her. It is an honor and privilege to be invited into someone else's inner world and feelings.

Message to clients

If you're struggling with feelings, such as anxiety, depression, and loneliness, and need a kind, gentle listener, I might be a good fit for you. I work alongside my clients, guiding them to explore what's troubling them, seek solutions using their strengths, and develop coping skills. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the challenges you face. I like to combine CBT exercises with psychotherapy to address issues and identify and achieve goals. I like to assign homework at the end of a session, encouraging clients to work on small goals between sessions. I hope to create a warm, safe environment for you to share your story with me.
