Professional statement

Keeping in mind that therapy is not "one size fits all," Mandolin incorporates a number of different modalities into her work. Primarily working from cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral approaches, Mandolin integrates research-based interventions with a positive and soothing therapy style to make you feel both comfortable and challenged to be your best self. Mandolin also has experience with other therapy modalities, and will incorporate them as she sees fit for individuals.

Message to clients

I aim to create a non-judgmental and collaborative environment full of empathy, warmth, and empowerment to maximize self-growth journey. Through a wide range of techniques and interventions that inspire a humanistic approach to motivate true thought and behavioral change, I work with my clients to help them understand their past, accept their present, and work towards becoming the person they want to be in their future. I believe that everyone’s therapeutic journey is personal and should be tailored to their individual needs and strengths, so we will identify what those are and use them as your superpower throughout our time together.
