Dr. Matthew Diner is a trained psychotherapist and practicing for over ten years in the mental health field. He has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and parents for a wide range of emotional disturbances, life challenges, and difficulties, such as, anxiety, adjustment disorders, life transitions, depression, relationship issues, and family problems.

Dr. Matthew Diner’s practice is virtual, and he works with his patients in a confidential and insight-oriented fashion. Through gentle collaboration, one of the goals of therapy will be focused on creating a space for you to develop and clarify your thinking and feelings, deepen your awareness and self-understanding, and with support, to help you to make the changes that you want for your life.

Dr. Matthew Diner previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the City University of New York (CUNY) and adjunct professor at Fordham University and Columbia School of Social Work. He is also a trained clinical supervisor for clinicians seeking clinical licensure. He has postdoctoral and advanced clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR) and the New York Psychoanalytic Society and institute (NYPSI).
