Better Lives Building Tribes (BLBT) focuses on virtual sessions with clients located in Colorado. Dr. Meaghan Rice, PsyD, LPC founded this private practice to focus on how people intersect with others, finding creative ways to insert new coping skills and habits into the relationships that matter the most to people. BLBT believes that with an external lens on the intersection point with others, there is the ultimate potential to learn about what people need to get to the best version of themselves.
BLBT uses a wide-array of different relational therapeutic approaches rooted in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) foundations. BLBT spends time challenging beliefs, perspectives, and ideologies that may block the functionality of relationships. BLBT creatively develops potential tactics to develop healthy mergers amidst people. Finding a metric that works for their clients, BLBT moves at a quick pace to help clients find some immediate relief, which tends to lead to more incentive for clients to stay involved in their own treatment.
BLBT wants clients to feel that their "virtual office" is a safe place, where everyone is welcome to show-up as they are. Because they do not have a physical location, clients can access their clinicians within the comfort of their own space, on a schedule that works nicely for those that have busy lifestyles and a lot going on, and certainly welcomes any and all questions before getting started as a new client.
