Psychologist, PsyDDr. Megan Connell is a Clinical Psychologist who sees clients for remote teletherapy sessions in Washington state, Washington DC, North Carolina, and Virginia. She works with individuals ages 13 and up, and most frequently works with adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. She specializes in anxiety and trauma, and has a military background.
Dr. Connell’s approach to therapy is brief and solution-focused; she strives to make sessions both fun and educational for her clients. Additionally, Dr. Connell has a unique expertise in working with clients who are part of the gaming community; she is both a member of the community herself, and has done extensive work with girls, geeks, and games, including developing the clinical role of Dungeons & Dragons for group settings.
Dr. Connell completed her undergraduate training at Berklee College of Music, her graduate training in Hawai’i, and her clinical internship in Washington state. She looks forward to working with you.
