Meghan Norsigian is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Providence, Rhode Island. She works with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Meg’s clients come in to address anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and relationships challenges. Meg is passionate about working with individuals seeking support in making sustainable healthy change. She is experienced in working with individuals with PTSD, Anorexia, Bulimia, Anxiety disorders, Bipolar and other mood disorders, ADHD, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Meg uses a variety of modalities in treatment and has additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which examines and challenges negative thinking and behavior patterns with a focus on skill development for positive change. With a balanced focus on insight development and skill building, clients will become more confident and self-aware, affording them the tools to navigate life's challenges with safe and effective coping strategies. Clients will feel connected to their core values and able to make choices that honor the person they are and the future that they are working towards.
Meg received her MSW from the University of Michigan. She has worked in a community mental health, student affairs, and residential care settings. Meg has experience working with individuals of all ages with diverse needs and backgrounds. Meg is currently accepting clients in Massachusetts and Rhode island for either telehealth or in office visits. Her office is located in Providence, RI.
