Mr. Bergers' include a master’s degree in Adult Education with an emphasis on Training & Staff Development, and a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. As an adult educator, Mr. Berger taught several courses to those seeking certification in addiction counseling. He is licensed in the state of Florida [ License #SW 10725.] In addition to doing his own personal healing and development work Mr. Berger gained invaluable clinical experiences including treating the mentally ill in community mental health settings, providing in home family counseling, maintaining a private practice, and treating countless individuals struggling with chemical as well as behavioral addictions (i.e., codependency, sex love, and pornography).
During Michaels' time working as a therapist in substance abuse treatment he acquired specialized training in relapse prevention, psychodrama, trauma and treating a variety of personality disorders. Moreover, he developed a strong interest in group therapy. This interest evolved into a passion and subsequent creation of a therapy group in 2012 which addressed the unique challenges experienced by men.
Through the years Mr. Berger received specialized training in providing couples' therapy. Michael has helped many couples regain a loving connection with one another. Lastly, Michael has had the great privilege of working as a personal development instructor teaching experiential-based courses helping adults break free from the survival strategies formed as a child which have kept them stuck in their lives.
