Dr. Michael Koren is a Clinical Psychologist in Cambridge, MA who specializes in trauma, including complex trauma, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, relational trauma, PTSD, and a one-time incident. He also specializes in depression, anxiety, insomnia, existential concerns, and personality disorders.

When working with clients with a history of trauma, Dr. Koren helps them get on the path of healing. He takes a trauma-informed approach and gently guides them as they open up about their experiences while also being sensitive to how they are feeling in the present moment. He wants them to feel heard and understood before suggesting changes and/or coping strategies. His goal is to help them process the trauma, regain confidence in the mind-body connection, and feel empowered.
