Message to clients

Asking for help is the first step. Let’s work together to take additional steps toward a more fulfilling life.

I will place a focus on the therapeutic relationship to meet you where you are in terms of your goals. My belief is that you are your own agent of change and expert on yourself, and my role is to support you in your journey. I will use a compassionate but direct approach to support you in unlearning harmful behaviors. I will support you in making meaningful change and achieving your therapeutic goals. I work with individual clients who struggle with depression, anxiety disorders, and life transitions. I also provide couple's and family counseling to provide support in improving struggling relationships.

As therapy is just once a week, I believe that the most change is made between sessions. Depending on where we are in treatment, I may give you a homework assignment between sessions. This homework is meant to support you in learning new skills, challenging maladaptive beliefs, or practicing coping strategies.
