Shelley Davidescu, LMFT, is a bilingual and bicultural therapist who specializes in working with high-functioning professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s who often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in relationship patterns that no longer serve them. Many of her clients are successful on the outside—running businesses, managing teams, or excelling in their careers—yet feel disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to make lasting change in their personal lives.
Shelley creates a warm, inviting space where clients can safely explore the deeper roots of anxiety, trauma, or relationship distress. Her approach is evidence-based and client-centered, blending techniques from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and the attachment model. With each session, Shelley helps clients uncover the beliefs, patterns, or unprocessed emotions that may be keeping them stuck—and offers clear, compassionate guidance to help them move forward with intention and confidence.
Practicing since 2009, Shelley holds two master’s degrees—one in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and one in Sociology from San Diego State University. Her background gives her a nuanced understanding of both individual psychology and the broader systems that shape people’s lives. As someone born in Mexico City and fluent in Spanish, she is proud to serve a diverse and multicultural population with cultural sensitivity and depth.
Shelley offers virtual therapy sessions only, providing flexible, high-quality mental health care to clients across California.
