Message to clients

Before we get started, I want you to know that therapy with me is meant to feel comfortable, collaborative, and grounded. I do my best to make sure things don’t feel mysterious or overly clinical—just two people working together to help you feel more like yourself again. I’ll always be transparent with you about what we’re doing and why, and you’ll never be pushed to share more than you’re ready for.

While I aim to keep things approachable and down to earth, I also bring a strong scientific foundation to the work. I use strategies rooted in empirical research, and I approach therapy with a thoughtful, evidence-based lens. We’ll work together to understand the larger systems at play in your life and develop solutions that feel meaningful, realistic, and sustainable. I’ll always involve you in the process, so it feels like something we’re building together—not something handed to you.

I believe that therapy works best when it reflects your personal style, so I like to keep things flexible and bring in humor when it fits. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not sure where to begin, we’ll take it one step at a time, at your pace. My role is to support you in navigating life on your own terms—not to tell you what to do, but to help you discover what works for you. Most of all, I hope you feel seen, heard, and respected in our work together.
