Dr. Helms is a licensed psychologist, in private practice, who strives to be compassionate and nonjudgmental. Her goal is to help clients heal and participate more deeply in relationships and life. She works to help clients process difficult emotions and develop emotional intelligence. Her hope is to help clients feel more empowered and gain the ability to create more meaningful relationships.
She has worked in community mental health centers, clinics, group practices, and private practice. Her clientele includes both men and women and struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties, family of origin issues, grief and loss from an interpersonal/relational perspective.
Dr. Helms is sensitive to the needs of corporate professionals, medical professionals, students, public servants/teachers, athletes, and parents striving to be the best they can.
