Professional statement

Tiffany Wright is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Grief and Loss Specialist who serves a diverse group of individuals across the United States with a career emphasis on behavioral modification and crisis management , Over the course of 13 years. Ms. Wright is an experienced counselor that facilitates positive change and personal growth. Ms. Wright’s experiences span multiple environments including Acute Inpatient care, managed care, and crisis intervention. Ms. Wright has been able to gain experience in various settings, most recently as a care advocate for an insurance company where she works to create case formulations to discuss with an interdisciplinary treatment team to determine appropriate levels of care and how to achieve optimal treatment, as members matriculate through different levels of care. Ms. Wright has provided counseling services in an in-home capacity assisting the Department of Family services within the home to repair familial relationships. Ms. Wright has also worked within a recovery residence as a family therapist to provide therapy and education to family members directly impacted by their loved ones struggling with substance abuse. She created family workshops to allow a safe environment for families to bridge the gap of healing from the damage created by their loved one’s illness. Additionally, she has worked within an Inpatient setting where she had the opportunity to create individualized treatment plans, conduct family sessions and group work, and discharge planning to provide continuity of care for patients once they return to the community. While working at a suicide hotline, she gained experience in crisis intervention and would respond to members in the community in crisis and link individuals with mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities to appropriate services.
