Tim Flynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate practicing online throughout Texas and in-person on Sundays in the Houston Heights. He works with teenagers and adults, couples and families. Many of Tim's clients come in when anxiety from work and family relationships is beyond their coping skills and its difficult to live joyfully. Tim is particularly passionate about serving couples, young adults and professionals who are seeking peace, purpose and skills to create the life they've always wanted.
Tim's approach is rooted in relationship and self-leadership. Combining Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, clients can gently reprocess past trauma, turn their inner critic into and advocate and learn how to connect to the deepest loving part of themselves.
Tim is focused on partnership, progress and judgement free support of his client's deepest desires for fulfillment and relationship. There are no bad parts of us, only strategies and feelings that are more or less successful or helpful.
Tim received his Masters degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in 2021. As and energy industry professional as well as a counselor, Tim brings significant real-world experience to his practice. With 30 years of marriage and professional experience and two adult children he has had to learn many of the life-skills that he brings to his practice.
