Wiley Thomas Pittman is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with an office in Lumina Station in Wilmington, NC. Tom works with clients of all ages as well as couples. Many of Tom’s clients come in when they have left rehab or are just getting sober, when they are feeling depressed, anxious, or just don’t know where to turn. Tom is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which uses principles from both cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy, to give clients tools in an effort to help them convert negative thinking patterns and destructive behaviors into positive, healthy outcomes. In session, Tom also employs a Person-Centered approach which allows clients to find growth and fulfillment within themselves.

Tom received his Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He gained experience at Recovery Innovations, Trillium Health Resources, RHA and Sagestone which allowed him to treat clients suffering from a variety of mental health issues. Tom also spent many years in the business world which enables him to bring a wealth of experience to the counseling profession. Ina addition to private practice, Tom offers telehealth and is committed to meeting clients where they are.
