Tony practices Internal Family Systems therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to provide clients with comprehensive, trauma-informed therapy sessions. Clients explore the different parts of themselves and their trauma reactions, finding ways to make sense of who they are and how they came to be that way. Tony also introduces concepts like mindfulness and meditation into sessions. His goal is to help clients access their innate wisdom when figuring out how to transform their lives. He teaches clients how to cultivate self-awareness to do so, and also teaches them how to cope with distress in ways that feel natural to them.
Tony earned a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from New Mexico University. He strives to support clients find joy and meaning in their lives, and guides them compassionately as they better understand themselves and heal from past trauma.

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Emotion regulation - Learning how to effectively manage the ups and downs of intense emotions; developing coping skills to use in a variety of settings to calm oneself and to give an appropriate amount of space to emotions
Life purpose & meaning - Exploring one’s beliefs and values around life purpose, meaning, and spirituality; addressing the barriers to living a life that feels fulfilling, including instigating change or developing new habits
