Message to clients

I choose to work with highly motivated people from a strengths-based and client-centered approach to support them in better functioning, better mental health, and wellness.
My approach is warm and collaborative. Rather than starting from what's broken, I like to start with what's already working — your strengths, your preferences, your goals — and build from there. I work with both individuals and groups, drawing on cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches tailored to what fits your life and your treatment choices.

I earned my BA in Psychology (with a minor in Sociology) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and my Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout my career, I've stayed attuned to multicultural issues and committed to understanding each person's unique viewpoint — because real progress starts with feeling truly seen.

I believe everyone has the capacity to grow in meaningful, life-affirming ways, and to build deeper connections — both with themselves and with others. Together, we'll look honestly at what isn't working and find a path toward greater wellness.

If you're ready to begin that work, I'd be glad to support you.
