Professional statement

In over 20 years of successful work with community health organizations, Dr. Yves Abraham has helped a wide variety of adults, couples, children and families both from a psychological and a spiritual perspective. Her background in family systems theory enables her to help people connect and consider how multiple factors including relationships, health, and spirituality impact one’s life. Dr. Yves believes that it is not always what happens to us that impacts us but rather how we respond to what happened. Her aim is to counsel, coach and encourage those who may be struggling to achieve in a particular area of life or feel that their growth has been halted. She is passionate about helping others identify their obstacles, reset their course while assisting them to activate the right tools at the right time.

While she is skilled in the treatment of emotional and behavioral issues including depression, trauma, substance abuse and family stressors, what sets Dr. Yves apart is that she uses her gift of insight and compassion in conjunction with her academic accomplishments and experience. This creates a uniquely effective theoretical orientation which allows and create an environment where patients see miraculous therapeutic results.
