My concentration is in Holistic Mental Health Counseling, and I have expertise in Ayurvedic medicine, Yogic psychology, Hakomi, and herbal medicine. I bring these fields of study together to form a thorough understanding of how to find the way back to balance.

My approach is holistic and client centered. I believe in recognizing one's natural skills while creating strategies to reduce discomfort. I specialize in adjustment issues, depression, and anxiety. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which provides fast relief to many symptoms including those related to anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and depression.
We will look at your mind/body connection because having a better understanding of this will lead to a reduction of physical/emotional pain. It is my hope that my clients live the life they have always wanted to.

Individual or couple therapy can provide an enormous amount of support during periods of adjustment and turmoil. The apprehension and anxiety you might experience in initiating the process of change and support you need is an understandable part of this transition. Many people feel the need to be perfect, make the right decisions, and I work with you to feel comfortable with yourself, enjoy your academics and social life, and know that whatever happens, you're going to be a success in your own way.
To medical students: Having trained as a medical doctor, I know that medical school can be extremely stressful; and that there's a huge pressure to know all the small details. The reality is you're going to get this information over and over again; but it's very difficult to manage expectations and pressure. I work with you to make this training an enjoyable process, rather than a horrific stress in your life.
