Isolation is a major challenge for many of us right now. You are not alone – and at the Woolf Center, we are here to remind you of that. We will help you learn to cope through these and other challenging times. Life is tough, especially nowadays – we hear you and see you, and we understand. We have services available for you whether you are a teen, young adult or a parent.
If you've experienced trauma, the single most important protective factor for healing is to have a community, and a support system. We can help catch you if you feel like you've fallen, and help lift you back up.
If you're feeling burnt out, know this is a real phenomenon for professionals, parents, and caretakers. Therapy is available to help you give a little back to yourself. We strive to show you care, the same way that you do for others. We work closely with you to ensure you are equipped with self-awareness and personal-care tools for sustainable, positive change.
All of our providers at the Woolf Center utilize evidence-based practices for treatment. This includes modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and Perinatal Mental Health. All of our therapists are experienced with trauma, whether you have life trauma or a specific event that you perceive as a traumatic experience. You will not have to tell us anything you don't want to, but we will help you with increasing joy, satisfaction, and contentment in the here and now -- no matter how you feel when starting out.
