Sometimes we have what we need inside, but we have trouble tapping into it. We want to change but we just aren’t sure we have the stamina, ability or reserve to make it through. Sometimes we just don’t know where to start. All it takes is one step to move closer to the support you need to meet your goals. At Artesian Collaborative, LLC all our therapists are dedicated to helping our clients navigate through the tension and pain in life towards growth and change. We recognize that your identity, culture, history, relationships and experiences all come together to create who you are. Therapy is not a one size fits all model and requires us collaborate through a diversity of treatments, techniques and modalities to unearth your internal resources, build skills and take steps towards your values.

Dr. Sunitha Chandy's goal is to work with people to help them navigate pain and tension and turn it into growth that improves their lives, relationships, communities and the world.

Ben Tudor is passionate about bringing the real world into the therapy room so that skills and development can improve people’s daily lives.

Rosondunnii Marshall understands that it's normal to feel fear when stepping into change and she works with her clients so they don’t have to be stopped or dismayed by said fears or doubts.

Jackie Chavez strongly believes in balance and growth, meaning together she works with her clients to turn pain into purpose.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important factor in the process of reaching your therapeutic goals. This is why a primary focus of mine is to build a strong therapeutic alliance with support, validation and acceptance. It is through building a trusting relationship that we can begin the process of deepening the therapeutic work. I strive to create a safe and warm environment where individuals can begin to identify, challenge and eventually change maladaptive relational patterns.

I also believe that our life and cultural experiences, especially our earliest ones, are fundamental in shaping the way we view ourselves and others. It is essential to understand my patient's cultural identity (i.e., race, gender, gender identity, sexuality, class) and how it has shaped their development. Often negative life experiences can create problematic ways of coping and a skewed perception of who we are in the world. This can lead to a variety of issues related to anxiety, depression, shame, rejection, stress, relationship issues, identity development, grief/loss, and sexual intimacy.

As a modern therapist, I provide culturally sensitive, unique, and creative therapy to help individuals and couples. I understand how hard it can be to find a therapist that seems relatable or trustworthy. I work particularly well with individuals in their 20s, 30s, or early 40s looking for a therapist that "gets it". This may be an overwhelming point in your life, but pursuing psychotherapy can be one of the most transformative experiences you can take to heal & grow from your current state.

As your therapist, I will help you navigate ways your thoughts may be negatively impacting your life. I will help you learn ways to manage and pursue the goal of not allowing anxiety and depression to derail your days. My role will be to help you explore and identify unclear reasons that prevent you from living or having your envisioned life.

My approach is compassionate and to truly listen. I seek to be in-tune with you as an individual.

Life is truly a gift that is meant to be enriching, filled with freedom and happiness. At times we experience challenges that prevent us from living life the way we truly desire. As a modern cognitive behavioral therapist, I understand these challenges and how they may be altering you internally. Seeking help is a powerful step to improving your quality of life. Talking to someone about whatever your concerns are is something that almost anyone can benefit from, but many people are afraid to reach out.  If you are considering therapy or coaching, I applaud you, and I really do want to help you find what you need to feel POWERFUL and help you develop the tools to have peace in your life.

I enjoy working with diverse clients, and have treated patients on the inpatient as well as outpatient basis.  I began providing therapy in 1996, and  have worked full time in several local hospitals before deciding to work full time in outpatient private practice.  Though I work with many populations, I enjoy helping individuals with issues of trauma as well as working with couples.  I work with all age ranges and have helped clients with a range of diagnosis.  I use a variety of  techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR.  I am also a Certified Hypnotist and a trained mediator.

The world is full of expectations about who you should be - but what would it be like to live the life you truly desire? Many experiences of depression, anxiety, and chronic stress are related to our efforts to carry out everyone else's stories about who we are and what we are supposed to be doing with our lives. As a narrative therapist, I will support you in detaching from negative thought patterns and behaviors, and reconnecting with the values, strengths, and communities that better support your highest sense of authenticity and wellbeing.
