I acknowledge how difficult it is to make to the decision to come to therapy. Seeking support for emotional or personal challenges is an act to bravery. I realize how stigmatized strong emotions are in our society, and at times we may feel shame for crying. In my practice I aim to serve as a platform free of judgement that allows you to speak your deepest pain and discomfort. To support you in establishing a channel of communication between your body and your mind.

In my work as a therapist, I focus on understanding early experiences and how psychological well-being can be fostered through relationships. I believe change and healing come through relationships: our relationships with ourselves, as well as our relationships with others. I view therapy as a collaborative process that allows both therapist and client to grow and change.
I practice primarily from a relational-dynamic perspective, though I incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative approaches to tailor treatment to the unique and individual needs of each client.
My clients describe me as an empathetic, active listener who approaches their concerns with caring, respect, pragmatism, and sometimes, humor. I'm honored that you're considering working with me and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I take great care to develop a safe, warm and collaborative relationship with my clients, as I believe this relationship is a key conductor towards healing, hope and change. I typically like to understand all of my clients from a holistic perspective, taking into account early life experiences, their attachments, and relationships.

As a therapist, I believe in tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each person at that specific point in their life. I believe the key instruments necessary for the art of therapy are: empathy, attunement, play, hope and patience. It is my belief that we can all find a life that is worth living, where we can express our most genuine and authentic self, with love and compassion. I remain very humble in my stance; it is an honor to witness my clients’ unfolding narrative and healing process.

I practice the philosophy is self-acceptance. My core belief is that we are all unique and talented in numerous ways. Therefore, we must follow our own path in life. You may doubt yourself sometimes because your path does not meet society’s expectations. But, there is only one YOU in this gigantic universe that no one can replace.
