Innovative Therapeutic Services, Corp. (ITS) is an outpatient mental health clinic (OMHC) that provides mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. We offer therapy and medication management.

As therapists, we understand how hard it is when you're worried about your family as well as trying to take care of yourself. Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners on our staff will work with individuals (children, adolescents and adults) looking for medication management services to help manage their mental health symptoms including depression, anxiety, ADHD and more. Our prescribers will complete a complete evaluation to determine if medication is appropriate and discuss medication options best for you. Regular follow up care with our prescribers is required to maintain quality care.

Innovative Therapeutic Services provides telehealth services to all of Maryland for both therapy and medication management. We also have offices located in both Laurel and Hagerstown Maryland for therapy and medication management services.
*Individuals must be located in Maryland to be seen via telehealth
Individual therapy focuses one-on-one with the client, which will provide them with an open space to share their feelings with a licensed clinician. Treatment is individualized for each client depending on their mental health needs. Out licensed clinicians treat mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues with children/adolescents, trauma, life stressors, and more.
Psychiatry/Medication Management
ITS’ psychiatric nurse practitioner will carefully conduct a psychiatric evaluation to determine if mental health medication is needed. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner will prescribe medication and monitor the individuals symptoms. Our prescribers will work closely with you to ensure your overall mental health needs are addressed and tailored for each individual.
All of the staff at ITS believe in a strengths based approach to treatment. This approach builds on an individuals strengths, seeing individuals as resourceful and resilient when experiencing difficult situations . Our clinical staff have the core belief that person centered therapy is important, always ensuring that individuals preferences, needs and values guide clinical decisions, and providing care that is respectful and responsive to the individuals needs and desires.
We accept the following insurance plans: Care First Blue Cross/ Blue Shield/ Blue Choice, Tri-Care (now Humana), Cigna, and United Health Care, Magellan.
Maryland Medicaid Programs (Including Aetna, Amerigroup, Kaiser Permanente, Maryland Physician Care, Riverside, United Health Care and University of Maryland)

Individuals are responsible for contacting their insurance carrier or benefits coordinator to understand all co-pays and/ or co-insurance amounts.
Adjustment difficulties & disorders - Support around adapting to new and/or challenging life circumstances; skill-building for improved stress management and reduction of anxiety.
Adolescent mental health - Working with adolescents, teenagers, and parents on social, academic, and/or emotional challenges throughout teenage years; addressing anxiety, family conflicts, peer relationships, school stress, transition to college, social media pressures, self-esteem, hopelessness about the future, emotional disregulation
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Child Mental Health - ADHD, school behavior concerns, behavioral concerns at home, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, grief and loss, trauma
