Khan Counseling is a virtual private practice serving those who reside in California, New York, Idaho, and Utah. We offer individual and couples sessions.
Our head clinician, Sidrah, is now accepting in-person clients at her Newport Beach office.
The therapists at Khan Counseling specialize in a wide array of areas, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity questions, sports & athlete-related issues, many aspects of sex therapy, relationship issues, trauma, and more. We have a vast background and strong emphasis on trauma-centered work. We welcome people from all backgrounds and stages of life. We also offer therapy in Spanish for those seeking a bilingual therapist.
Khan Counseling is a eclectic practice with a plethora of training and experience in all different treatment areas. We each have a unique background that helps shape us as therapists and as people, which we often bring into our therapeutic work to make ourselves relatable and human. As a small and tight-knit practice, you will feel like part of our harmonious family.
At Khan Counseling we work with all insurance plans as out-of-network providers. Our fees range from $150-$300 depending on the therapist and type of session (individual or couples).
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Emotion regulation - Learning how to effectively manage the ups and downs of intense emotions; developing coping skills to use in a variety of settings to calm oneself and to give an appropriate amount of space to emotions
