SelfWorks is a warm, collaborative psychotherapy practice founded by Amy Vigliotti, grounded in the belief that people are inherently resilient, and can grow with the right support.
We offer therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy. We also offer parenting support and mindfulness-based services.
Care begins with a thoughtful consultation to ensure the right fit. Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, psychodynamic therapy, exposure-based treatments, and mindfulness in order to help clients build insight, practical skills, and lasting change.
What makes SelfWorks different? We are a deeply human, nonjudgmental space where therapy is both relief (feel better now) and growth (build a stronger, more confident you).
We are in network with Northwell, Pratt Student Health, and Lyra. We also work with NYSHIP members.
If cost is a concern, we offer sliding scale options because therapy should be accessible, not a luxury.
We support clients navigating:
Anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD (including ERP)
Relationship challenges and life transitions
Parenting, child & adolescent concerns
Identity development, LGBTQ+ care, and multicultural therapy
Chronic illness, stress, and emotional regulation
SelfWorks is unique for:
Thoughtfully matching you with the right therapist for your goals
A collaborative team approach—no one works in isolation
Care that is practical, personalized, and grounded in real life
A warm, inclusive environment where you can speak openly and feel understood
