How does payment work at your practice?

At The Therapist, we understand that access to mental health care is essential for all individuals, and we are committed to making our services as accessible as possible. We are in-network with major insurance providers, including Aetna, UHC, UMR, Cigna, BCBS, Tricare, various EAPs, and UHC Community Plan. This means that clients with these insurance plans can benefit from our services with minimal out-of-pocket expenses. For those who may not have insurance coverage or require additional financial assistance, we offer a sliding scale private pay rate. This sliding scale is designed to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, can access quality mental health care at The Therapist. Our standard rate is $150 per session, but the sliding scale allows us to work with clients to find a fee that is affordable and fair, reflecting our commitment to providing quality mental health support to our diverse community.
