The nurse practitioners at Arrow Behavioral Health provide expert, compassionate care of families and individuals of all ages. Many individuals find themselves feeling stuck in a conflict, whether that’s at work, in the family, with a friend or loved one, or because of a recent major life change. While they’ve tried to remedy the issue, they still find themselves facing challenges and aren’t sure what to do next. We strive to help clients reflect on their feelings and prioritize their mental health as they work towards their goals.
Addiction - Coping with emotional discomfort and suffering; reducing or abstaining from unwanted behaviors such as unhealthy gambling or shopping
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
College & graduate student mental health - Specialized strategies for common issues of young adulthood, including school and career stressors, support around healthy relationships, existential concerns, drug or alcohol issues, eating disorders, and anxiety and/or depression.
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) - Reducing unwanted intrusive thoughts and rituals by gradually building comfort and confidence facing difficult fears, thoughts, and emotions
Panic attacks / panic disorder - Brief, intense periods of overwhelming fear or anxiety
