Dr. Girma is a board-certified physician psychiatrist who is highly skilled, bringing extensive training and expertise to the field. Having successfully completed his training at the renowned University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, Dr. Girma is fully committed to delivering exceptional mental health care.
With a commitment to providing high-quality care, Dr. Girma specializes in working with clients aged 18 and older. Dr. Girma possess a broad range of expertise in treating various mental health conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Addiction.
Dr. Girma's treatment approach combines medication management with brief therapy interventions, tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each client. This integrative approach aims to promote holistic well-being and improve overall mental health outcomes.
To ensure accessibility and convenience for his clients, Dr. Girma offers both in-person consultations and telehealth appointments. Dr. Girma is pleased to accept private pay and works with insurance plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield (Indemnity, PPO, and HMO) and Optum.
Operating on Mondays and Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM, Dr. Girma provides a supportive and compassionate environment where clients can embark on their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.
ADHD - Skill-building and support around organizational challenges, distracted attention, procrastination; building and maintaining healthy routines and structure
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Bipolar disorder - Developing coping and preventive strategies to stabilize extreme mood swings, including manic and depressive episodes; increasing effective strategies to regulate emotions and maintain a healthy daily routine
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Psychotic disorders - Supporting individuals and families to manage symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, and agitations while maintaining healthy, supportive relationships
Below is the fee structure for private pay or self pay patients.
-Initial 60 minute appointment: $400
-Follow up appointments:
$150 for 15 minutes
$250 for 30 minutes
$400 for 45 minutes
